The Village of Nobleford has a Community Complex located at 112 - Kipp Street. The complex houses: the Nobleford Curling Rink, a large meeting room, and an auditorium.

NOBLEFORD COMMUNITY COMPLEX RENTAL AGREEMENT motion # 119-2011, March 15, 2011 policy #02-26

The recently renovated AIR CONDITIONED NOBLEFORD COMMUNITY COMPLEX gym is available for rent with a 478 person capacity, a licensed kitchen equipped to serve 300, microwave, fridge, cooler, 2 stoves. Athletic equipment is included in rental. The upstairs meeting room will be equipped in mid 2011 with fridge, stove, microwave, sink, for gatherings up to 60 people. A quality permanent BOSE Public Address system is available for all users at no additional fee. Microphone, cables and stands are available at the Village office. You may plug your mp3, cell phone, laptop, cd player in to any of the ¼” outlets (1/8” adapter available) and play music at any time, be sure to set selector accordingly. Complimentary internet provided by PLATINUM. This is a NO SMOKING public facility. Those smoking are responsible for damages and subject to prosecution. For Bookings, contact the Village office.

Main gym $20.00 per hour or $200.00 per day , (between 5:00 am and 4:00 am)

Upstairs Room $20.00 per hour or $100.00 per day , (between 5:00 am and 4:00 am)

Kitchen $50.00 per booking

Due to the variety of uses of this facility on a daily basis, there is a no charge 2 hours allowance for banquette activities for set up and cleaning,, providing this time is not booked by a paying customer. This gives you time to clean and prepare the facility to your satisfaction. We recommend that you cover the plastic tables with your own table cloths.

The full rental fee is required at time of Booking. $100 security deposit is due before receiving keys.

A 50% refund of rental fee is given if cancelled with 30 day's notice. Cancellation penalty credit is good for the existing calendar year. No charge for date change. You are required to make arrangements with the Village office to pick up and return keys. It is the renter's responsibility to lock the facility at the close of your activity. The Village reserves the right to deny rental, or amend rates without notice.

Security/Key deposit is $100.00. Charge for NSF cheques is $100.00. Deposit will be retained after 30 days of event.

The Security / Key Deposit refund will be returned to the renter when:

- Keys and used dish clothes and dish towels have been returned, clean and dry to the Village Office

- an inspection of the premises confirms the complex is not left in an unacceptable condition.

- broken items charged at replacement cost if reported to the Village of Nobleford , double if not reported.

- wash all items used (cutlery, dinnerware, tables). Stack all tables and chairs in designated storage areas.

- dry mop and sweep facility, place full garbage bags outside N.E entry in container, replace garbage bags in all garbage cans.

- wet mop kitchen, bathroom, entry and hallway floors, spot wash gym floor as needed, wash countertops, sinks and toilets

- supplies available for renters to use include: wet and dry mops, buckets, brooms, vacuum, dish soap and

Dish sanitizer detergent, floor cleaner and bleach, toilet paper, paper hand towels for bathroom and hand soap

These items are in the kitchen or hallway Janitor supply room.

The Village has three parks, two playgrounds plus two school playgrounds, a skate park, tennis court, ball diamonds, soccer pitch, community complex with BBQ facilities, pool and shuffle board tables, BMX bicycle track, paved walking path through the community, museum, outdoor basketball court, curling rink, seniors drop in center, access to the school library.

We appreciate your patience during the upgrades taking place at Kenex Park campground.

Nearby Keho Lake (10 minutes) has camping, golfing, restaurant, beaches, fishing, hunting, windsurf and kiteboard, water sports.

Nearby Park Lake Provincial Park (15 minutes) has camping, a nice beach and excellent picnic areas.

Nearby Picture Butte (15 minutes) has a seasonal swimming pool and hockey arena.
