Moved by Cllr. Thomsen that, CAO prepare a current to 5 year, Recreation and Parks development plan to address,
walking paths, skateboard park, tennis courts, ball diamonds, centennial park, ruby park, heritage park, and other
related facilities and properties in the village. CAO is to report to council in 30 day’s with a draft concept.

Moved by  Cllr. L. Thomsen that the presented Parks and Recreation organizational plan be adopted
and that CAO present a completed 5 year plan to Council by September 1,2004

Moved by Councilor Larry Thomsen that a letter of appreciation be sent to the Nobleford Recreation and Parks
committee commending them on their work in helping put in motion a 5 year plan and further that the committee be
invited to attend a future council meeting to present and discuss the 9 general projects in more detail and prioritize
with hopes that the new elected council will add each project as an appendix to the New Municipal development plan

#101-2005 Approve $30,000 Fund Incentive for Parks & Recreation
MOVED BY, Deputy Mayor Larry Thomsen that council authorize the CAO to proceed with the grant applications with
respect to Recreation and Parks to be funded from the Environmental reserve up to the amount of $30,000.00 with
the expectation that there will matching corporate sponsorship of up to $30,000.00 and that the project does not
proceed until grants are confirmed.

MOVED BY, Councillor Bryant that council direct the CAO to prepare the 2005 CFEP grant application for Parks &
Recreation Enhancement Program for discussion with MLA Barry MacFarland.

MOVED BY, Councillor Nieboer that council direct the CAO to fill out the CFEP application with the changes that
council discussed.
