interpretive stations along the pathway telling history of the community, CPR station, grain elevators,
gopher flats, fox dens, the original Nobleford #519 bridge.
One of the intentions of the path is to encourage healthy living and therefore the path will pass by the
current recreation facilities of the curling rink, ball and soccer fields, Skate Park and the long anticipated
Non- refrigerated winter ice rink.
This phase of the path is 2 km in length and represents approximately ½ of the final path project that will
hopefully be completed within 5 years. Pictures on the attached electronic disc show the route the path
will take.
PROJECT NEED, REASONS FOR FUNDING and PUBLIC ACCESSIBILITY
High blood pressure, obesity, heart attacks, physical inactive youth and adults, pressure on our heath
care system, pressures on our social service system, human stress, and the list goes on and on. Walking,
running, bicycling, or pushing a wheel chair around the paved path, stopping to enjoy and participate in
the recreation opportunities along the path will all  reduce the risk of all the above. The project benefits all
ages and all levels of fitness.
By funding this project the long terms costs of care of our population will be reduced and productivity and
attitudes will be enhanced. An option for a better quality of life will be created.
