NOBLEFORD AREA MUSEUM SOCIETY
As you probably know the Nobleford Area Museum Society has a dream, - to restore the
original Noble Cultivators Manufacturing Building as an Agricultural Museum and Village
Office.  The museum will be unique because it will show how the blades were manufactured
in the shop, as well as portraying living conditions.  The Village Office was completed in
2004, but the Museum Society ran into problems and things have been on hold for over a
year.
We are anxious to get things moving forward, with a possible completion date of February,
2007, to coincide with some agricultural tour events in the area.  There is a lot of interest
throughout North America in this museum.  At this time WE NEED YOUR HELP, both
financially and physically.
To date we have obtained grants and/or donations in the amount of $221,460.00, which has
been applied to the Museum Complex and the Village Office.   However, there is still
$43,000.00 owing on the construction of the building, and then we have the expense of
developing the interior.
Laurence Campbell and Paul Goldade have donated their 'Ralphbucks' to the Museum
Society; and have put out a Community Challenge for everyone else in the community to
donate their 'Ralphbucks' to the Nobleford Area Museum Society as well, to aid in the
completion of the facility.  Recognition will be provided on a wall at the entrance to the
Museum.
We also need new members in the Museum Society, so if you have any interest in keeping
the heritage of this district alive for your children and grandchildren, please join us.  Our
meetings are held the first Monday of each month.
We would greatly appreciate any donations to the Nobleford Area Museum Society, which
could be used for matching grants to obtain sufficient funds to complete this project.
Donations can be dropped off or sent to the President - Henry Lindstedt, Box 295, Nobleford,
T0L 1S0; OR to the Treasurer, - Peggy Campbell, Box 66, Nobleford, T0L 1S0.  Since we
are a Registered Charity, a tax receipt will be provided.
